Dedicated IP for shared hosting

One main feature in web hosting our company normally demands is to be able to have a Dedicated IP. This is not dedicated hosting but a IP address that is dedicated to our website.

It is tricky to find a web host that offers Dedicated IP as part of a plan or an add-on to an existing plan if you are doing shared hosting.

Aplus.net offers some competitive plans but they only offer dedicated ip on their E-commerce plan which is $28.46/month and that is pre-paid yearly. You can get a full VPS solution for this amount.

Lunarpages has dedicated IP but their ftp has many problems.

1&1.com offers dedicated IP only on their VPS and dedicated hosting solutions. You cannot get this feature on their shared servers.

Westhost.com offers dedicated IP but they have use a funky name server with a dash in the domain name and to get your own customized domain name servers it costs $10 more a month. If that does not bother you then their dedicated IP either comes with some plans or is only $1 extra a month. (corp2.westhost.com/addons/)
